On April 2nd, the camouflage net making site at Jakobi 2 marked three years since the start of making nets for the Ukrainian armed forces. When thinking about the reason that brought people together back then and keeps them together now, it is unfortunately not something joyful. Time has moved on, but the war in Ukraine still continues.

The duration of the war has also expanded our activities. In addition to manually weaving camouflage nets and making helmet covers, the Aitan Kaitsta Tartu weaving site has organized collection campaigns for both Ukrainian civilians and the front lines. We have collected children's clothes and shoes, candle wax, school supplies, hygiene products, long-lasting food items, participated in public events, repaired hospital clothes for the front-line hospital, etc.

The Jakobi 2 camouflage net making site in Tartu is organizing a fundraising campaign for military products until April 20th!

If you want to support the soldiers on the Ukrainian front but weaving nets is not quite your thing, you can donate any amount to the account of MTÜ Aitan Kaitsta Tartu EE487700771011351792 (explanation "Jakobi 2 military equipment"). The goal is to help Tetyana, a mathematics teacher at the Kyiv 52nd School of Information Technology, buy two pairs of soldier boots and up to ten raincoats and sleeping bags to send to the school's alumni on the front lines.

The fundraising campaign aims to purchase the following products:
Light soldier boots size 42 (one pair) and 43 (one pair), cost per pair 100.85 euros;
Raincoat 144 x 223 cm (4-10 pcs), cost per piece 34.90 euros;
Sleeping bag (4-10 pcs), cost per piece 58 euros

The first names of all donors will be sent along with the purchased military products with good wishes!
MTÜ Aitan Kaitsta is listed among non-profit organizations with tax benefits, meaning all private donors can get their income tax back.
