The €5,000 scholarship of the Professor Peeter Tulviste Memorial Fund of the University of Tartu Foundation was awarded to Mari Tõrv, Associate Professor of Archaeology and Research Fellow in Analytical and Physical Chemistry at the University of Tartu, whose research focuses on the interpretation and protection of archaeological cultural heritage.

From 29 January to 2 February, the international winter school "Survivance and Survival: Theory and Method" will focus on the question of the survival of humanity by looking at it from the perspective of the humanities.

You can learn about the available internship opportunities, the application process, the roles available for international students, and more. In addition to the fair, workshops will be available where you can get advice on finding a job or an internship.
Over the next seven years, the government will fund ten centres of excellence addressing scientific issues of importance to Estonia. The University of Tartu has tight connections with all of them.
Adult learners are welcome to participate in micro-credential programmes starting in the spring semester and delivered in block mode or online form suitable for working people. Applications can be submitted until 21 January 2024.
The University of Tartu will organise its alumni get-together with the slogan “Back to the university” on 18 May 2024. Early-bird tickets at special rates are available from 1 December.
