Baltic Journal of Art History

The Baltic Journal of Art History is an international art history periodical that focuses on issues related to art in the Baltic countries from the distant past to the present day. Our main objective is to develop academic writing about art in both the regional and international context. The journal has an international editorial board, and its peer review conforms to scientific standards. As of 2013, the publication appears twice a year, with one themed and one non-themed issue.

The BJAH welcomes high-quality contributions covering everything from monographic studies to the promotion of sources, opinions and commentaries for the Miscellanae column. The editors undertake to review any contributions as quickly as possible and to provide the relevant feedback. One issue of the periodical is published in an internationally comprehensible foreign language (English, German, French, and Italian). For the other issue, Estonian-language material will also be accepted on an exceptional basis, in which case a detailed foreign-language summary will be added.

The editorial board wishes to thank everyone who wants to submit materials to the publication.
